With reggae enthusiasts, PapaRick and Marky Lyrical diving deep into the conscious riddims of a music that seeks to unite a divided world in peace, love, justice and unity!
Mark “Marky Lyrical” Mahoney has been involved in reggae for more than 25 years. His love for the genre started in high school when the powerful lyrics of roots reggae inspired him to look deeper into his life for purpose & meaning. In 2012 he started to perform solo under “Marky Lyrical” & most recently he joined forces with Eric “PapaRick” St. Amour of Brica Brac sound system to create Reggae Townships Radio & spread his love for Reggae across the Eastern Townships!
Eric “Paparick” St-Amour has been a music lover since his early childhood and became interested in reggae at a very young age. Although he grew up in Quebec, his family in England allowed him to discover sound system culture; ready to share his experiences, he founded the Brica Brac Sound System. As a selector & operator of the Sutton sound system, he is always looking for original and relevant sounds.
